Ok more on Selena's new song. But first off i just want to say shes only dating Justin Bieber for the publicity, you know how Wizards was finished and stuff, she's got no anchor anymore so she 'using' JB if you must....I still love them both though. Sorry, i just love these quotes....

 

Ok back to Selena, now her new song just came out on the 23, maybe the 24 im still not 100% sure yet. Again, i love her sparkly colorful dress! And again, wierd video. i personally loved the guy singing Natrually, but Selena was better. I love her poofy hair at the beginning and i hate her white hair. sorry its the truth. Ok so ill post even more on her song tomorrow once i get more info.

Last Friday Night is a VERY popular song sung by Katy Perry. Not Pink, not Rhianna, Katy Perry. The video is pretty good, here check it out:

HCR

Now lately I've been writing on bands that most people don't know or that haven't let an album in a few years. So I thought I'd get more readers by posting s a little something on HCR. So from left to right it's Nash, Ryan, Ian, and then Jamie. 

Most of their songs are stomping, blistering jams like “I Like to Dance,” “Never Have I Ever,” “Say (Half Past Nine),” and “Bushes,”. The songs will sound equally fierce whether they’re blasting from a car stereo or emanating from an arena stage. 

The band has an amazing hard-rock tune. The lyrics blend together so natrualy, it's so catchy and easy to get in your head. The guitarists make most up of the core. The band members are so dedicated to music, all they do is music.

So I added 2 songs from HCR, check 'em out if you've never heard of them.

The Academy Is.....

Ever heard of this band?Maybe, maybe not. Lemme tell you about 'em.

The Academy Is... is an American Rock band that 'formed' in 2003. Their orignial name was just, The Academy, but they added the "Is..." for legal reasons. In 2005 the band let out their debut album,  Almost Here. The 3 biggest singles on the album is The Phrase That Pays, Checkmarks, and Almost here. The album reached #20 on the Billboard Top Seekers.

In 2007,  Santi was let out. The release of this album was listed on Blender's 25 reasons to love 2007. The album also landed at #32 on Billboard's 200.

Just a year later the band released Fast Times in Barrington High. This album reached #17 on Billboard's 200, a great accomplishment for the band. The first single on the album was About A Girl, personaly my favorite by them.

Lost In Pacific Time came out in 2009, well, there's not really a whole lot to say. Any ways, the band is really cool and their songs are awesome. I'll put a few songs up, check 'em out.

The Click Five/5 Leo Rise/Taking 5

So I was watching this movie the other day called Taking 5, the characters were good. But the band, 5 Leo Rise, sounded SO familliar when the sung Kidnap My Heart, so I did some research. Turns out the actors who played Richie, KK, Scooter, Mason, and Nickolai are really Eric Dill and The Click Five!! Ok now if you've never seen the movie or heard of the band, listen to the song below.

Also, watch this video, it's got more pics of the Click Five, this song is from their movie made in 2008 staring Alona Tal, who was also in 10 episodes of Veronica Mars, staring Kristen Bell. Sorry getting sidetracked. Anyways, listen to the song.

This video is hilarious because it's so poorly filmed, but it was taken straight from the movie, so yea. Also, the really cute guy that signs REALLY high is Richie, or in life Eric Dill, and the guy with the flippy hair is Mason, or in life, Joey Zehr.



So some other songs you might want to look up is Jenny, or Happy Birthday, or a very new, very popular song, I Quit I Quit I Quit. But Eric Dill doesn't sing the song, he was replaced by a mister Kyle Patrick, you'll see his picture on their album Modern Minds and Pastimes. He's the one in the middle front.

The Killers

The Killers. Gods i love this band! Ever heard that catchy little tune, somebody told me? Or Mr. Brightside? Never knew who sung the songs? THE KILLERS!!! They're an American rock band that formed in 2001 in LA. The band cnsists of lead vocals/keyboard Brandon Flowers, lead guitarist and back-up vocals Dave Keuning, bass player and back-up vocals Mark Stoemer, and on drums Ronnie Vannucci Jr.
The first album they released was  Hot Fuss in 2004, that started them off. This album contained 5 of their most popular songs, Mr. Brightside, Somebody Told Me, Jenny Was a Friend of Mine, Smile Like You Mean It, and All the Things I've Done. then, just 2 years after, their 2nd album came out, Sam's Town containing When You Were Young, Bones, and Reasons Unknown.
Their 3rd album is Day & Age with the very popular songs Human, Spaceman, and A Dustland Fairytale. This album came out in 2008, but in 2009, their movie came out! Live From The Royal Albert Hall.

80s

Jean jackets, nerd glasses, avaitor glasses, perms, leg warmers, and skinny (leather) jeans. The other day i dressed totally 80s. Floral dress, short-hemmed jean jacket, way farer glasses from the carnival (the good kind) and i curled my hair in itty-bitty ringlets, not as good as a perm but pretty close. ;) So let's talk music wise. Uh-hem, most popular 80s artist?? Well there are alot, but my favorite is either Madonna or The Beastie Boys!!!! TIME TO GET ILL!!!!! Michael Jackson and Prince were really popular too right? Right.  Pixies, R.E.M., The Replacements, Sonic Youth were all great too. Let's not forget all the hard rock/metal bands like  Iron Maiden, The Cult, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Guns N' Roses, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Testament, Overkill, Mötley Crüe, Suicidal Tendencies; some of my dad's favorites, and a few of mine ;). Personally, this is my favorite decade of all time. 70s was too hippie-ish, 90's were just wierd and 60s and 50s are too old. And nowadays technology has taken the better of us.....minus music of course. Leave a comment on what you loved about the 80s.

The Crosson Brothers

A rising band of brothers, they started out in a small town in California and have recorded an album in LA. They've been on Good Morning America, and other shows i don't know of. Kyle is kinda my friend, well a friend of a friend. ;) They're really good and guess what? All the songs are written by Jesse, the lead guiarist. Jayden is the drummer and may i add amazingly C-U-T-E hot! Kyle, the lead singer, is smexii!!!!! lol I love Robbie too, he's the fun loving bass player.
